With around 200,000 cars and some 4,000 coaches expected from Friday 18 December through to Sunday 3 January, the busiest time is expected to be Saturday 19 December, with about 80,000 customers heading off for Christmas on a single day.

Tim Waggott, Chief Executive of the Port of Dover, said:  “We will be working hard with our ferry operator partners to get all of our customers on their way for a well-deserved Christmas break. Thank you to everyone who have chosen the Port of Dover as their gateway of choice this year.”
