VSBW, a joint venture between VolkerStevin and Boskalis Westminster, has been appointed as the principal contractor for the marine civil engineering stage of the Port of Dover’s flagship Dover Western Docks Revival (DWDR) development.
 
The Port of Dover has awarded the £115m marine structures and bridge contract of this flagship development to VSBW, which represents a substantial part of the single biggest investment ever undertaken by the Port. DWDR Meet The Buyer event provides the opportunity for the principal contractor to meet local businesses of all sizes and understand the services they can offer.
 
The DWDR and VSBW teams will be present to describe the scope of the marine civil engineering works, discuss opportunities and answer queries. If your trade is not covered within the list there will be future opportunities where your area of expertise is required. You are welcome to register your interest for future stages of the project.
 
DWDR is a one-off opportunity for the regeneration of Dover, bringing new investment into the area. DWDR will deliver a transformed waterfront, relocation and further development of the cargo business, creation of greater space within the Eastern Docks and much needed quality employment opportunities for local people.
