Dangerous Hazardous Goods
Notes on the completion of an application for consent
(A) The applicant indemnifies Dover Harbour Board against all actions, claims, costs and demands in respect of any accident, loss of life, personal injury to, or loss of goods or property of any kind and all and any consequential loss that may arise directly or indirectly from any such goods being in Dover Harbour or on Harbour lands, whatsoever shall be the nature of such accident loss or damage and howsoever the same shall be caused, except in so far as any loss of life or injury is due to proven negligence on the part of the Dover Harbour Board.
(B) On approval the Harbour Board reserves the right to restrict entry of Export consignments onto the Board’s Property no earlier than a specific number of hours earlier than the shipment.
(C) Special conditions may be applicable to this particular consent and will be explained on approval.
To: The General Manager Operations & Harbour Master /Terminal Controller, Eastern Docks, Dover. (See Note 1 above)
We, (as Company Name below), hereby apply for consent to ship the following consignment of Dangerous Goods via Dover Harbour Eastern Docks and in respect thereof agree to indemnify Dover Harbour Board in the terms set out in condition ‘A’ above, and further to observe any other conditions which may be attached to such consent. (See Note 2 above)
