The Kent coast is seeing growth in the energy sector, with the region offering excellent proximity to natural marine energy sources – both wave and tidal stream and is home to one of the country’s largest offshore wind farms; the Thanet Wind Farm.

The Port of Dover is uniquely positioned to deliver fast, dedicated and direct access to Europe on the shortest sea crossing and is close to all of the main Channel shipping lanes, which means minimal ship deviation. Port of Dover Cargo has the capability to handle all types of out of gauge and energy cargo.
