Navigation Directions
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Dover Harbour Board in exercise of its powers through the Harbour Master under Article 26(2) of the Dover Harbour Revision Order 2006 and in accordance to Article 26(5) of the Dover Harbour Revision Order 2006 gives the General Directions for Navigation in the Port of Dover.
These General Directions are hereby given to maintain, promote and enhance the safe and orderly navigation within the Port of Dover and its approaches.
Owners, Agents, Charterers, Marinas, Yacht Clubs, Recreational Sailing Organisations and any other interested party should ensure that the contents of this Notice are made known to the Masters or persons in charge of their vessels or craft.

The Port of Dover Bunkering Code of Practice provides guidance for the safe transfer of bunkers and was developed for the benefit of the ship bunkering industry in Dover comprising shipowners, operators, charterers, bunker suppliers and bunker tanker operators.
All ship owners, bunker suppliers and bunker craft operators whose vessels/road tankers are authorised to supply bunkers in the Port of Dover should ensure their employees adhere to the procedures and requirements stipulated in the code during every bunkering operation.
