Ferry - Terminal Facilities
Whether you need to change Sterling into Euros or just grab a bite to eat, you will find all the essential services you need across the two buildings.
The Passenger Terminal building at Dover’s Eastern Docks is where foot passengers are dropped off after disembarking from the ferry. It is also where you will come before boarding the ferry if travelling as a foot passenger, using either the drop off car park, taxi rank, bus or coach stop. You will then take a shuttle bus from the Passenger Terminal building to your ferry.
The Passenger Terminal, also has Eurolines, Avis and Costa Coffee kiosks and outlets as well as Port Reception, Border Force public counter, P&O foot passenger ticket desk and public toilets.
The Passenger Services Building East (PSB East) is located on the east side of the Port, close to where you first enter after Check-in and Tickets. Facilities include cash and currency services, toilets, cash point, vending machines, free Wi-Fi access, Costa Coffee, Burger King, WHSmiths, massage chairs and games room.
The Passenger Services Building West (PSB West) is located on the west side of the Port. Facilities include cash and currency services, toilets, cash point, vending machines, free Wi-Fi access, Costa Coffee, Burger King, WHSmiths, massage chairs and games room.
Passengers with any special needs are advised to contact their ferry operator prior to travelling.
Induction loops to amplify announcements or conversations for passengers wearing hearing aids are available within the main passenger buildings. Just look for the distinctive ‘ear’ symbols.
Port Reception staff are trained in deaf awareness so you can rely on receiving an understanding response at all times.
Unisex, disabled rest room facilities are available in various locations throughout the Ferry Terminal. Wheelchair-friendly ramps are also fitted on all split-level buildings and walkways.
For any other assistance, disabled persons and persons with reduced mobility must notify the ferry operator and/or port authority at least 48 hours in advance of departure and present themselves at an agreed time and place ahead of the published embarkation time.
